A pipe organ is a musical instrument that develops sound by air vibrations. It may feature one or many keyboards controlled by the hands, and a pedal board controlled by the feet, each of which has its own group of stops. The organ’s persisting supply of wind allows for it to prolong notes for as long as the corresponding keys are down, dissimilar the harpsichord and piano, the notes of which commence to decompose the longer the keys are held. Organ pipes are organized into flue pipes and reed pipes depending on their design and quality. Flue pipes produce sound by squeezing wind through a fipple, like a recorder, whereas reed pipes create notes using a beating reed, similar to a clarinet. The reed organ is little, more low-priced and more portable. The natural sound of the pipe organ permits it to be used for numerous unique things. The lack of definition between the notes means that it is really difficult to play quick paced music.

Through time the pipe organ improved, and had many different variations. Organ music is magic; even a inexperienced, occasional listeners can be uplifted by the complexness of tone from a true organ just as one night choose a live band to a mp3. Organs were orchestrated to merge in musical harmony with the human voice, making the pipe organ the ideal musical instrument to utilize in adoration services everywhere. Pan pipes are considered the ancestor of the pipe organ. Organ music has been an primary part in classical music and it has influenced composers. The tone from the pipe organ makes the auditor comfortable. Pipe organs are mainly used in religous services. Pipe organs are termed as church organs.

The Boardwalk Organ holds 3 Guinness book world records! One for biggest organ anywhere, one for largest instrument, and finally surprise! Its also the loudest. Regrettably it is not operational, the reason for this being fumbling workers and the harsh restoration process applied when the boardwalk hall was renovated.
As the demand for pipe organs have grown through time, so has the way pipe organ builders adapt so they canbuild a pipe organ to serve our needs.

You might have read the phrase “web banner” written a lot on the internet. This phrase describes 2 kinds of imagery. The first form is the conventional advertising banner, ordinarily applied as a means to drive clicks to another site, as clicking the banner takes one to the promoted site. The second form of banner is found at the very top of an average site – the site header location. This location ordinarily brings in an individual to the site with a title, possibly a secondary strapline, and of course imagery to help theme the site. Advertisement and header banners serve primary roles in both delivering visitors to a website, and making a site “sticky” – by teaching them simply with the definitive premise of the site, and inviting the reader to read the site further, employing compelling graphics and strapline text.

How to make banners in the first place? There are many services that can serve you with this chore. Not only that but many also give you web banner hosting as well. Just type in a phrase such as myspace banner maker into a search engine and you’ll locate a myriad of banner maker services.

So what to arrange in your banner? If you have an e-commerce site, it’s a great plan to put the payment providers your site uses for processing payments, because it presents to people a visual clue that you are selling items and also lets the individual see how they can pay. Place some pictures of the products you are vending as well, as this is a further visual prompt as to what kind of products you vend. Lastly, the strapline text is essential too. Ensure the strapline distinctly and briefly says what the site is about in just five to seven words.

And as apparent as all this sounds, a misapprehension numerous sites make is to take for granted every visitor knows automatically what the site is about before visiting it. One can’t take for granted that the visitant knows such info, so one needs to squeeze every visitor’s hand in those essential first 3 or 4 seconds upon arriving at your website.

Feng Shui is an artwork of arranging your indoors so as to optimize the flow of chi. It evolved to its maturity in Chinese culture. Its literal english version is “wind and water”. Feng Shui was developed with an intent of designing auspicious tombs for the Chinese ancestors. With cultural progress, the sensitive was being employed in designing palaces for kings, government bureaus, and important city-points. In its eventual stage, the art of feng shui was used to plan and build entire cities.

Majority of constructions in Hong-Kong are designed and constructed with feng-shui principles. It is obvious from this that the art of feng shui is very important when it comes to architecting buildings in the Eastern cultures. It is well known that Bank of China was litigated by the neighborhood businesses because of its intentional anti-feng-shui plan.

By late twentieth century, feng shui began gathering popularity in US culture. By the 1990s, feng shui became the buzz news among the elite members of society in Manhattan and Los Angeles.

Slate fountain is one of the most familiar feng shui components. Renowned for multiple feng shui benefits, a slate fountain has earned a peculiar spot in the heart of feng shui devotees. Slate water fountain represents two elements: earth and water. Earth is regarded feminine by nature, and so is water. At the same time, earth also typifies stability and dependability because of its substantial merit. The consolidation and two components – earth and water – makes slate water fountain pure feng shui fountain.

You speak simple, completley understandable
justifications
I respect them, respect you, honor what you tell me
and even though I know where you’re coming from,
I just wanted to share with you, let you hear:
my heart…it’s crying…
for you,
your words,
and hands
your hugs, kisses
comfort…
I want you…
frightening, shaking, nervous to admit: “I need you”
want me
need me
please be with me and share with me
any and everything, anytime, anywhere
I am here, ready, willing, WANTING to listen
waiting to know about YOU
your past, present, even your secrets
I give you my word: there will be no judge present,
just me…standing, with open arms, waiting
for you to take the first steps,
whether they be grand or microscopic, I will wait
with tired, heavy arms for you to come to me.
I understand the situation isn’t the easiest,
but hopefully you will feel as I,
when I tell you: “nothing that’s worth anything is
easy”
Are you thinking about me as I write this?
Am I pacing back and forth in your thoughts like you
are in mine?
Do you feel the love and power in your heart the way I
do?
Please say yes…please……..please
your eyes say yes, but I can’t read your heart;
if it is in your heart that actions are born,
or your kiss that speaks your desires
I know the answers to my questions but still crave for
you to tell me
I am scared of what lies ahead,
afraid of what is, can, or will be
of your ability to heartache.
Is it worth it? you, me, together, one?
the passion spoken between our lips, hands scream yes
my heart yearns for your company, your touch.
mornings welcomed with bright lights glow, even though
it’s pouring rain
when I am with you, rain is foreign, non-existent
complete
your hand in mine,
my hand in yours.
whichever way it is to be spoken.
so much more than lust…it’s
shared swings,
speaking eyes,
held hands not wanting to let go, a lost key to a
lock,
introductions and visits,
talking birds,
spilled drinks,
written words on my skin…
touch me
paint me
I am your canvas…
laughs and unexplainable want, emotion following,
chills thta never go away
like a consistent heart singing your name.
wipe the hair form my forehead with your fingertips
look into my eyes and read me…
we kiss
it can’t be!
did you really just read me?
or
are we thinking the same thing?
Romance tangled in a thorn brush, pleading to get out.
“you’re hurting me, I’m crying, bleeding from all the
thorns”
run with me,
play with me,
sing with me,
but especially swing with me.
swing with me to the moon, so we can let go
of the chains we hold on to that keep us from falling,
the chains that are the only separation
from my arms to be wrapped around your waist,
the only separation that keeps me from running my
fingers through your hair.
chains those damn chains.
messages we send
back and forth
in secret,
they hate it, you do it anyway
(one of my favorite characteristics)
“I’m falling, tumbling, rocks”
I am too.
Kiss, feel, touch,
my lips,
breasts,
face, any and eveything for you.
discover me…
I want…need…ask…beg
for you to
discover me.
you say it’s hard to open up, share your intimacy,
I want to make it easier, reassure you with open arms,
ears and smiles
I am HERE…talk to me.
Lets share
experience,
emotion,
familiarities,
unknowns,
places,
kisses,
breath,
what’s mine is yours,
take as you please, but I warn you:
(I am strong, very strong) but
that strength has the capability to soften for time to
time
I can cry, hurt… please don’t hurt me
fragile is I, behind all the strength,
but step not on egg shells or bite your tongue,
FOR YOU I’LL BE ME,
IF FOR ME YOU’LL BE YOU<

My name is Catherine Marshall; I am a senior at Texas Tech University. My major is English and my minors are mass communications and Spanish. I am from Houston, Texas, born and raised. I love to write and act. My favorite thing to do is to be on stage; there is no feeling I get in comparison to the rush I get when I am acting. My dream is to be on Broadway, in movies, and take part in play writes as well. I am twenty-one years old and in the next year I will be going to Europe (Seville, Spain) to study abroad and will be graduating in December of 2005. After graduation I want to spend time teaching English in a foreign country (which one…I don’t know yet) and am anxious and looking forward to the experience. Between now and the future I will focus on my school work, graduating with good grades, and working toward my dream of becoming an actress.
