What if there was a way that you could provide your own power and sell electricity back to the electric company? That ability exists with wind power mills. Is Wind power Right For You?Before you get to overly excited and start shopping for a wind power unit you have to realize that these machines require large open areas to safely use. We require only an initial investment of $200 and thereafter a nominal maintenance is required and we can generate electricity continuously and of course the amount of electricity generated depends on the wind speed. People are generating electricity from wind and are saving up to 70 percent of their electricity bills per month and every month. If you live in a windy area and your electricity consumption is less, you can even generate surplus electricity from your wind power generators installed in your backyard. They can be a good secondary power source when used along with wind turbines. Nuclear power is another obvious answer and this form of power is being developed in various places around the world. The initial cost of nuclear power plants is very high however and there is much opposition to their use after the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl accidents. Properly built and supervised nuclear power stations will probably be a large part of future power supply around the world. If you built a wind power system in any other period in history you would need to invest a lot of time and money. Even a decade ago this wasn’t as possible. But there are now many great sources to get low cast or no cost parts for your wind power system. How To Build A Wind Turbine

This blog is from our recent trip to Honolulu. Ive got to tell you, if you ever have the opportunity to make it to Hawaii, you should absolutely take the opportunity. It has to be one of the most enjoyable places in the United States. It is so amazing to have such a grand location in our country.

The hospitality there is awesome. We took a surf lesson, rode a canoe, caught a few hula demonstrates and even had a chance to try out some authentic Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow drink at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening cocktail. One of the most memorable aspects was when we treated ourselves to the best Honolulu massage. It was spectacular, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.

Oahu is remarkable. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Figure out what is most important to you and focus on that. Take time to unwind and savor just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.
