Xmas Gifts
There are times when all we need last minute Xmas gifts. A neighbour may drop in with a gift or your boss may just decide to take you up on that Christmas dinner offer and you have nothing for them. At these times instead of panicking, use these gift ideas to create neat little gifts for your unexpected guests.
First of all, always keep a few small baskets at home that can be filled anything when required, a few golden and silver ribbons and a couple of gaily coloured cloth pieces will make the simple basket look like a piece of art. Now all you have to do is to hop to your local store and look for interesting Xmas gifts to fill up your beautifully decorated baskets.
A herb basket is the easiest to make and usually the most useful of all Xmas gifts especially for people who like cooking. All you need to do is buy a few small bottles of herbs like dill, rosemary, oregano, thyme and basil and put them together in the basket along with a small bottle of olive oil. Add a small recipe book for good measure, cover the basket with a cloth, tie it up with a ribbon and your basket is ready to be delivered!
Another great Xmas idea is a wine basket. Tear a few green and red coloured tissue papers to create the base and then set a bottle of wine inside along with a couple of wine glasses. You can also add crackers and a gourmet cheese to complete the basket. For people who don’t drink, sparkling juices can be substituted instead of the wine bottle.
